  1. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Awareness Part I All Employee - CO00301

Objective

1. The U.S. Congress enacted the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) in 1977 in response to findings that companies had been making hundreds of millions of dollars of questionable payments to foreign government officials, politicians, and political parties. The purposes of this act are to halt the bribery of foreign officials and restore public confidence in the integrity of the American business system.

2. The head of the DOJ's Criminal Division recently described the agency's focus on FCPA enforcement and warned executives and employees of personal accountability for FCPA violations. This FCPA training course explains the major principles of U.S. anti-corruption laws, persons subject to FCPA, implications, consequences, etc. The course is based on the FCPA Resource Guide released by the DOJ and SEC. This interactive FCPA training course will ensure employees at all levels understand their roles and responsibilities in protecting your company from the risk of bribery and corruption. The section ‘Consequences of Non-Compliance’ will educate employees on the ‘do’s and don’ts of FCPA’.
